Turned computer off for the weekend. After powering up computer, I'm now getting this error message when I try to open Thunderbird: "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible". I've restarted the computer several times with no change. I can find the Thunderbird files, but can't see a way to access them. What do I do???

This is so frustrating! I've searched a number of related questions, and every single answer assumes that I Thunderbird will start. It will NOT. I only get the message above, and that's the end of it - absolutely no access to Thunderbird whatsoever. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird and restarted my computer multiple times with no change. How do I point Thunderbird at my profile if I can not open it? And yes, I've verified that my profile is in the Roaming folder.
