Lost old emails again after update
The second time now lost all old emails after update ,you would think support would do something about this , it automatically updates every few months i have to sign in again and old emails lost, so annoying.

Have you checked in your trash bin whether it still directly contains folders or emails?

only the ones i have deleted today, second time this has happen with a auto update ,lost all emails,cant even stop updates to stop it happening, it updates as soon as you open monzilla thuderbird. ( i have windows 7)

Emails normally go to the trash, they are led there when they are deleted. Also in some cases they are put on the server removed to your inbox moved. Also moved and no longer present on the relevant server. This has to do with whether you use POp or Imap.
If you have used Imap, then the mail is usually still on the server, if you have deleted the mail from the server, the chances are smaller that you will ever find it again for your own use.You can purchase a data recovery program that is free and not.I will pick one for you if you want Firefox has this too.
I will continue to search for you in Thunderbird if there is a solution to see together if the files are still present in your Computer machine and whether at the relevant location as discussed above.
