Hallo Everybody,

Since version 78.3.1 our mail server is not working. it only works with "None" connection security.

Our Mail server settings POP3, IMAP, SMTP The following servers and settings are required

POP3 : pop3.berg.net 110 995 IMAP : imap.berg.net 143 993 SMTP : smtp.berg.net 25 465 or 25

The error message says that the username or password is incorrect, but everything is correct. but if I set the SSl to no security, it works. Do you have an idea for us? TNX

regards Reza

The minimum required TLS version is 1.2 for Thunderbird 78 - see release notes. https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/78.0/releasenotes/

Presumably you'll have to adjust your mail server config to support TLS v1.2.
