A couple of days ago after an upgrade to the latest Firefox (in Wndows 10) my default search engine changed to DuckDuckgo. Yahoo - which had been my previous default no longer appeared in list of options for search engines in Firefox options. Looking at other posts, I deleted search.json.mozlz4 and restarted Firefox. This time my default search is Google. Yahoo is still not an option. Can anyone help me to get it back please? ( I did notice some Yahoo extensions, but these don't seem to be straight search tools but have additional 'features' like putting up photos on every new tab)

Hello, Can you try to restore default search engines from the "Search" tab in the options. I think this article might be helpful. After you restore can you try to set Yahoo default search engine again.

Thank you for this - I'd already tried restoring defaults, but Yahoo no longer appeared on the list, BUT I did use the link you sent and used the instructions for adding extensions to installYahoo and make it my default search engine. Thanks again.
