My firefox menu bar and menu button on my laptop are actually Google's menus. When i want to change settings i'm dupposed to click on Firefox in the menu bar but it's not there. This is true even when i log into my firefox account. The menu button shows tabs for gmail, contacts; etc. All Google stuff. I have been trying to sync my laptop with my android phone but all the instructions tell me to click on things that aren't there.

Are you using an add-on from Google?

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I have been able to access the Firefox menu. The problem was that yhings were not where the instructions said and the wording was different. My fault as a tech dummy. However, when I get the Firefox scanner to come up, it immediately asks me to grant access to the camer. When I click "allow", a screen comes on saying, "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within a Firefox app." Nothing there to click. All I can do is start over again, meaning clicking on "scan", the scanner comes on briefly, asks me to allow, I do, and then the "Did you ...etc." over and over. I checked my permissions and Firefox is allowed access to tge camera. I don't know what to do next. I have done this scan process oved and over again.
