Mr. Paul

How would I transfer my open tabs (tabs collected, horizontally, on the top bar of the Chrome page, to Firefox for Windows 10 ? And, how would I transfer these tabs and bookmarks to my Android mobile phone where I have installed FireFox as the browser. I have one desktop, one Dell laptop, and one Android mobile phone, Samsung 10, have the Firefox browser installed. I have been unsuccessful in transferring both to the Android mobile phone and unsuccessful in transferring the open tabs on the Chrome toolbar to the Firefox screen on both the desktop and the Dell laptop. I have transferred the Bookmarks from Chrome to the Firefox browser screen.

Please navigate me how to accomplish these transfers...........

      Respectfully

Michael Kevin Murphy

You would first have to transfer this data to a desktop Firefox version like you can read above. Then you can use Firefox Sync to sync this data to Firefox on a mobile device connected to this Firefox Sync Account.

How do I transfer the horizontal tabs on my Chrome screen, to my Firefox screen on my desktop, Dell laptop, and Android Samsung mobile phone. All are connected to Firefox. I am ignorant as to what the proper procedure is. I have been able, with appreciation from your Support, to sync the Chrome bookmarks onto the three devices connected to Firefox.

Additionally, when can I disable Chrome from my three Firefox connected devices, without deleting bookmarks and tabs ?

These articles will provide the information you need.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/switching-chrome-firefox 1. Don't remove Chrome [yet]... We'll need it to import your bookmarks and other data. (Optional) If you have Google Chrome open tabs you want to save, bookmark them all in an easy-to-find location, such as in a new "Open Tabs" folder in the Bookmarks bar. 2.Download and install Firefox 3. Exit Chrome if you have it running 4. Open your newly-installed Firefox. The import tool will pop up. If it doesn't, click the menu button Fx57Menu, click Bookmarks, go down to the bottom and click Manage Bookmarks and, lastly, click Import and Backup and select Import Data from another Browser from the menu. 5. The import tool will look similar to this 6. Choose Chrome in the Import Settings and Data window. In the next screen, choose the things you want to import. Follow the prompts and Firefox will take care of the rest.

I was able to accomplish transferring the tabs on the upper horizontal bar of the Firefox screen, by relocating each tab (internet address) to the specific bookmark folder; close Chrome; import Bookmarks from Chrome to Firefox. When I opened Bookmarks in Firefox to view the fresh folders I created, in Chrome, to capture the open tabs on the horizontal bar on Chrome; I did not view the freshly created folders. After I inspected my Samsung mobile phone, Firefox installed; I recognized there were to Bookmark labels. One was the former import of Bookmarks from Chrome and the second Bookmark label contained the fresh folders and their accompanying internet addresses. I deleted the former Bookmark label with the first import of Bookmarks. The second Bookmark label remains with the fresh bookmarks from Chrome. Therefore, I recognized on the Firefox screen there were to Bookmarks in the address bar. Likened to the Samsung mobile phone; I deleted the Bookmark label that contained the first import of Bookmarks from Chrome, resulting in one Bookmark label in the address bar containing the fresh imports of Bookmarks from Chrome. Now, what is the proper technique for transferring an internet address as a tab on the upper horizontal bar on the Firefox screen, to an existing bookmark label in a respective folder, in Bookmarks ??

In advance I will be benefited by your guidance.

          Respectfully
             Michael

The page saving bookmarks in Folders; assisted me, however required considerable navigation and typing name of address and the URL to effect a bookmark into a folder and or sub-folder. For my Android phone, installed with Firefox; saving a bookmark to a folder or sub-folder in Bookmarks does not require me to type the name of the bookmark or copy in advance the URL in the box allowing me to locate a bookmark to a folder. The name of the company and the URL is pre-written for me in the Bookmark box to transfer to a folder. I am only to manually select the folder and click > next> next> Done. In Chrome, to transfer an open page to a folder in Bookmarks, ONLY requires me to open Bookmarks> locate the folder and or sub-folder in that folder> right click> select ADD PAGE; bookmark in incorporated into that folder or sub-folder.

Now, can you instruct me how to save a bookmark to a folder and or to their sub-folder; without me having to manually type in the name of the bookmark and the URL before selecting Save or Done ? Can this operation be as convenient as saving a bookmark to a folder in CHROME or at the least, likened to Firefox with my Android for saving a bookmark to a folder ? ?

       Respectfully
          Michael
