retrieving history from Firefox if browser is set to "never remember websites" .

I am being told i entered something in a website on 2/9/23 and i do not believe i even went to that website on Feb 9, 2023. My Firefox is set to "never remember browsing history" when i log off. Is there a way to see if i even went to a website on 2/9/23 other than checking in my browser history? This is VERY important matter, and i think someone hacked us.

"Never remember history" means Private Browsing mode and in PB mode no session data is stored in the profile folder. This means that there is no history you can inspect, but also no disk cache and you won't be able to verify whether you visited this website back then in Firefox.

It's possible that your network router keeps logs of traffic for some period of time (but we are nearly 30 days out by now). Those could include DNS lookups and/or HTTP/HTTPS connections. Since most sites use HTTPS, the router won't be able to give you any full URLs, even if it has the general information that you connected to a specific site.

Otherwise, your internet service provider may have logs, but I don't know what process would be involved in requesting them.
