My Windows 10 computer died yesterday and I have only an old Windows XP computer at the moment. The best it can run is Firefox 52.9. I cannot log into my Firefox account to sync the settings and favorites. The wait spinner just sits there and the login page never shows, whether it is in about: or in mozilla.com. Is there any way to log in to sync the browser or should I just forget about it? This message is being texted from an Android phone, painfully slowly. I loathe texting. Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure if the Firefox Account website still supports XP for logging in, I think that Sync will work, but logging in could be a problem.

Did you check if its hard drive is still healthy by trying to connect the drive via a USB interface ?

Sync requires being logged into Firefox. How would a user be allowed access to personal data on the server without identity validation? I am sure the drives are all right, but I do not have a USB adapter for a 2" drive, nor would that serve any purpose in this situation. This old version of Firefox cannot simply grab data from a user directory that was in another computer that was using a more advanced operating system. If this old version of Firefox can't log in then I will simply learn to live with it.
