Typing letters and getting letters, numbers, and symbols.
When I type letters I get letters, numbers, and symbols. This started yesterday and only happens in Firefox; all other programs work correctly.

Hey there! It sounds like you're experiencing a bit of a typing issue with Firefox on your iOS device. Don't worry, you're not alone – we're here to help! This might be caused by some settings or temporary data. To get things back on track, let's try clearing the cache and cookies in Firefox. You can do this by heading to Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Private Data. Make sure to select "Cache" and "Cookies" and then hit that clear button. After that, give your browser a quick restart, and hopefully, your typing will be back to normal. If the issue persists, feel free to give us a shout, and we'll dive in deeper to sort things out for you. Keep browsing with Firefox!
Hi, it looks like you might be talking about Firefox on a Mac or PC since you mentioned typing (even though your question was posted under iPhone/iPad).
Do you have ZoneAlarm? There is a conflict with Firefox 116.0 because it prevents ZoneAlarm from injecting one of the anti-keylogger modules -- the one that decodes gibberish back to normal. For now, unfortunately, the only workaround is to exempt Firefox from the anti-keylogger feature or turn it off completely. The developers are aware of this and hopefully there will be an update to address it next week.

This looks to be a question for Firefox on Windows and with ZoneAlarm.
Firefox for iOS is on iPhone/iPad and since users have only reported this issue on Windows, I am going to move this to (desktop)Firefox section.
Firefox 116.0.2 was released today to resolve this.
When you get a chance, could you test and confirm that you can use the Anti-Keylogger feature again with the updated release of Firefox?
