No audio on Firefox nightly

As it says. Maybe a month ago or so the audio stopped working. I know for a fact it used to work because I specifically used ff nightly because it allowed me to play audio in the background.

I changed no settings. Tested on both some video sites I often used to use and also bandcamp. Absolutely no audio. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or need more information.

I recommend that you file this as an issue for our developers to look into. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

It appears this has already been looked into but they didn't apply the correct tags to the patch so it hasn't been applied yet if I understand correctly. Same with this one here.
