Whether I'm on a search page and click a link or type in the url, when I'm in Firefox (my preferred browser), it just spins and rarely reaches the site most of the time. If I'm in yahoo mail it often says "can't connect to internet".

If I type the same url or click on a searched link in chrome or edge it works fine. I don't get the "can't connect to internet" notice on the other two. What is going on?
