Can't open open local webpage in Firefox (MacOS)

I have a local webpage on my home network (Raspberry Pi) that I load all the time on my mac laptop using Safari and/or Firefox.

When opening this local webpage earlier this week in Firefox, some message came up which I didn't read and blindly clicked OK. Now the local page will not load ("We can’t connect to the server at webpage.local.").

I does still load in safari. And it does load using FireFox on my iphone (I use SYNC). So I somehow messed up my desktop firefox.

Searched online and have tried all sorts of things with no success (refresh Firefox, re-install, clear cache, etc).

Any suggestions on fixing this would be appreciated.
