Hi there,

I am running Thunderbird 128.6.0esr (64-bit) installed on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS using excessive disk space. It is so bloated and does not represent my actual e-mail size. Snap is 52.9 GB and in Thunderbird the mailboxes show about the sizes and they are far lower.

Thunderbird folder .thunderbird/h2dghah5.default/ImapMail/imap.gmail.com/[Gmail].spd/ is 24.0GB and All Mail is 18.7 GB.

How can I reduce the size of this snap?

Many thanks,

Nicholas

post screenshots of all imapmail\<accountname> accounts and post screenshots of all folders within thouse that are ending in spd. That should show a lot of where your sizes are.
