Google dropdown menu not letting me click on it when typing query

My Google toolbar doesn't work since I installed Firefox 4. When I type my query, a drop down menu appears with a history of my past queries and/or suggestions and when I click on one in the drop down, nothing happens and it makes me type out the complete text of my query. How do I fix this? I'm lazy and I really relied on that auto-fill feature.

Does this error occur with only Google Toolbar enabled and other add-ons disabled? Use Safe Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe%20Mode) to disable all add-ons. Check Disable all add-ons and click on make changes and restart. Then enable Google Toolbar, restart and check for your problem. If the problem is no more, go here to solve http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting%20extensions%20and%20themes#w_test-for-faulty-extensions

That didn't fix it. I think maybe Google or Firefox just need to catch up to each other because when I do a Google search about the autofill not working in the Google toolbar with FF4, there are many posts about it. I just posted the problem here because I didn't see anyone else had and then the FF developers can see the problem and be aware of it.

That problem is listed as a known issue with the Google Toolbar. So I assume that Google needs to fix this in an update.
