Using a PC with XP. I intalled Firefox 4.01 having first removed Firefox 3. I used an add-on the transfer passwords backed up from 3 to 4. Most passwords were copied over but some were not. My problem is that although I have the option "Remember passwords for sites" ticked. This does not happen. When I enter username and password for a new site, Firefox does not offer to store the password and the password in not recorded. I do have the add-on Better Privacy 1.50 installed. I tried disabling this but it made not difference. If all else fails, is there a way of adding username/password manually?
