Since upgrading to 5.0 I no longer see a security lock on any sights at all when I want to purchase something. Why?

I recently upgraded to 5.0 and whatever site I go in to purchase something I no longer see a security lock in the bottom right hand corner.

The whole status bar was redesigned, so now you use the area to the left of the address (green, blue, or plain) to check whether the site is secure.
