Can anyone help me out??? Every time i try to do a live chat for firefox theres never anyone on line and really need to know what to do. Ive started to download the version again, but its been 7hrs and its only a third of the way through, aprrox d/l time remaining is over 5 hours = is it supposed to take that long?? thanks

FF8.0 is around 13MB of size, so surely it shouldn't take you so long do download it

what kind of connection your're using? are you trying to download it from the official FF website?

Hi Teppei, yes Im downloading it direct from FF website.

in the d/l box its says "5hrs, 42 mins remaining - 1.7 of 4.3 MB (119 bytes/sec).

Im using wireless connection.

Its driving me insane because I cant do certain things on computer because i need the new version of FF. Does that give you any indication as to what it might be?

I did have it downloaded, then when i clicked on the exe file to install on my computer it said the file was corrupt and couldnt open it. so i deleted that one.

Ok People. this is shite. am going to delete firefox from my computer and go back to using internet ecplorer as NO ONE from FIREFOX seems to give a hoot about my problem. been trying to download this for 2 weeks now, still has another 21 days to download so its telling me.... WTF??

i can never seem to get the firefox chat available they are always closed so whats the use in having them on the site if theres no one there!!! do they realise that firefox is used worldwide not jsut the little corner of the world they exist in, theres alot of time differences so people cannot stay up till some ungodly hour as i have done, and still nto get anyone. seriously firefox get your act together!!
