Is it required to create firefox profile for different versions of firefox or we can reuse the created profile for all different versions?

I have virtually installed 3 versions of firefox browsers (ff4.0,ff7.0,ff9.0) in my windows exe machine using cameyo software which is a virtual packaging software. i am able to open the version .exes individually! I am unable to create firefox profile for all the versions installed , it being a .virtual file.

Firefox versions normally use individual profiles for each version, otherwise problems will arise. In fact if you are testing you may even use multiple profiles for each version. I use multiple versions but know nothing about virtual machines.

Is it not possible to first of all install multiple versions each with their own profile before packaging them?

Do you keep old settings or is a new profile created on each startup?

Can you start Firefox with the Profile Manager?
