I have a Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 in Firefox app it won't type anything in any search bar that I tap in. The only keyboard I have available is Samsung Keyboard interface and it won't type anything when tap on any letter or number. It does the same thing in any site except URL bar that work in typing in a address.
