how can I remove desktop wallpaper I downloaded from a website?
The wallpaper is very blurry. I have tried changing the screen resolution, and restoring my windows system to 9 days ago, before I downloaded the wall paper, but it did not go away. I do not like any of the wallpaper that is available on Windows 7 now.

Hi, bmacier!
To get rid of your wallpaper, you can do one of two things:
Change it from Control Panel (Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Change Desktop Background)
OR,
While viewing an image in Firefox, right-click on it and select "Set as desktop background...".
Stay epic!
Thank you for the help. I have tried your first suggestion, but I can only use one of the Windows 7 preloaded ones. Windows 7 previously had a landscape that was Bluebonnet Wildflowers, but I wanted something new! Should have just kept the Bluebonnets! LOL. Thanks anyway.
Did you try my second suggestion? That should work.
If you want to erase the image that Firefox saved, you can find it as follows:
- Press the Windows logo orb on the taskbar.
- In the search box, paste %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\ then press the Enter key.
- In the Windows Explorer window that opens, delete the Desktop Background.bmp file.
If you don't like any of your available backgrounds, right-click the desktop, choose Personalize, then click the “Get More Themes Online” link on the right in that window. Or you can always find more images with a search engine, then use Firefox to set the image as your desktop background.
Chances are you have an LCD monitor, which means it should be set to its native resolution. Otherwise, everything will look blurry. Right-click the desktop and choose Screen Resolution. In the list of resolutions, you should see one labeled “(recommended)” — that's the one you should be using.
System Restore only affects programs, not personal data — like your desktop background. If used improperly, it can do more harm than good. For instance, if used shortly after updating Firefox, it may prevent future updates. See the Known Issues section of the release notes for the current version.
