Firefox has been constantly crashing. I've tried reinstalling and disabling addons. The crashes appear to be random and are not triggered my any particular action or length of time.

hello, unfortunately this seems to be a crash that is appearing in firefox 19 on windows 8 with AMD Radeon HD 6XXX/7XXX graphics cards - developers are investigating the causes of it...

the beta version of firefox is reportedly not affected by this issue, so you might want to consider switching to that (at least for the moment): https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/beta/

another option is to downgrade to the to the former version - the auto-update in firefox 18 for the affected systems is now disabled and will be turned back on when a fix is available: Install an older version of Firefox ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/18.0.2/win32/

CARE, when changing versions do NOT use any option to remove personal data, or you will destroy passwords and bookmarks. There is normally no need to uninstall Firefox 19 before installing the Beta version (or fx 18.0.2)

Great - Upgrading to Beta worked. Thanks a lot!
