I currently have Mac OS-10.6.8. I currently use Firefox 30. However, my new financial company specifies FireFox 18 to use its website. Thus, can I use both versions on the same Mac. Thanks for any advice that can be provided.

I have 2 versions of Firefox on my windows computer because I don't like the new versions. I have V30 in programs (86) and V 28 in a private folder. To do that I had to do a custom install of 28 and send it to my folder or it would have gone in programs or insist that I upgrade.

Use a portable versions of Firefox 18, isnt recommended use older versions of Firefox because they have security issues.

Diego Victor, your answer would be fine if fhall02 was using Windows and not Mac OSX. ______ You could try doing separate program folder installs and then making sure the Firefox 18.0 is using its own Profile as it should not really be shared between versions as far a part as 18.0 and 30.0.

Another alternative is you could try fooling this outdated browser sniffing the financial company site is doing by making the Firefox 30.0 useragent appear as Firefox 18.0 with an useragent extension like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-overrider/

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0
