Hello! I have a problem with memory leak. I keep my Firefox synchronized (add-ons, passwords, etc) on two my computers. One computer had problems with memory leaks (my home comp.), and the other (my work comp.) - had not. Today I've come to my work and saw Firefox had crashed. So I decided to copy my home profile to my work computer. Now I have memory leaks on both computers. Do you have any Ideas what is this? Best regards, Alex.

Hello,

Firefox sometimes uses more memory than it should. Try one of these easy fixes

I've tryed those fixes before and they didn't help. My Firefox has memory leak e.g. memory usage increases second by second until it crashes.

What was on the Firefox installation that had that memory problem first, that wasn't on the other?

Whatever it was, is probably the cause of why both of those computers are now having that problem after you Sync'd them.

Did you not think that might happen when deciding to Sync them?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem
