I don't want to take part in the enhanced tiles experience and I do not wish to be tracked. How do I opt-out of enhanced tiles? I can't find anything on the mozilla site to do so. Thank you.

You can click the gear icon on the about:newtab page and switch to Classic, but I do not know the difference between the two settings.

You can set the browser.newtabpage.directory.source pref to an empty string via the right-click context menu on the about:config page.

You can delete the directoryLinks.json file in the parent location of the disk cache to remove the currently stored directory links. See the about:cache page for the location of the disk cache and go one level up.
