As stated it has been 24 hours since I signed into my account to sync my new laptop with my other laptop. Both are running the same Firefox (34.0.5) and both are signed into my account (only one I have). Yet, the new laptop still has not synced with the other one. Both laptops say I am signed in, and yet nothing. I click on manage and all I get is the choice to change my password or to delete my account. Is there a magic secret step I missed? Thank you in advance!

Hi CheshireQuinn,

Thank you for your question, it should do this automatically. But it may need a jump start.

Make a back up of the profile with all the important stuff before making changes: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles

Then there are two jump start steps:

  1. Click on the Tools > Sync Now Menu
  2. Remove the account from one of the devices and sign back in from accounts.firefox.com

If there are any errors that arise there are steps to check logs, but please try these steps first and post back with the results.
