I have looked at the advice pages and have updated the page style and cleared the cache, but this has not fixed the issue.

You would appear to be using Firefox 31.0 That is outdated and not secure.

The first thing you should do is update Firefox

This will not be caused by an intentional Firefox change. It my be worth trying Firefox in its safe mode

The Firefox 31.4.0 ESR version is still supported and has the latest security patches, so if you use that version then it is OK.
