After upgrading my to the latests version 36., the minimise, restore and close button on the top left conner work but they are black. I'm using Windows 7 with all Windows Updates. I already tried safe mode, reseting firefox, unchecking hardware acceleration and I use the default theme.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can try a different Windows theme in case Safe Mode and disabling hardware acceleration do not work.
