My media machine updated FF last week; my toolbar now only shows the email icon; Just about an hour ago; my main PC updated FF & right before my eyes my toolbar went blank; except for the email link; I depend greatly upon the icons on my toolbar to navigate sites I use regularly....

I am highly perturbed at this moment, & could give you an ear-full; but I'm restraining myself.... To say I am angry is an understatement; this issue needs to be remedied quickly

Chosen solution

Did you try to close and restart Firefox or reboot the computer?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
