New Java Plug in is blocking many sites. Firefox has blocked the old plugin so Java is basically useless.

I'm not seeing the Java plugin in the plugins list in the System Details list.

Did you install the 32 bit Java version?

Do you see the Java plugin in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins"?

Java (old version) is on my plug in list however Firefox has disabled it because of vulnerability issues and the new version is not working with several websites because of certificate issues. (I uninstalled the new version.) Yes I did install the 32 bit version

Did you previously used a Java 7 version and updated to Java 8?

I tied the link and I asked to allow. The site stated Java is not installed. I tried with Java 7 and 8. Firefox is basically useless now. I am going to have to try an older version of Firefox or install another browser. Not happy at all with Firefox now.

You need the 32 bit Java plugin and not the Java deployment plugin to run Java applets.
