I am regularly getting a black bar (sometimes two-color) across the bottom of my screen, which doesn't cover the icons on the bottom -- what do I do about it?

Shortly after I enter Firefox, I lose the bottom third of the screen, which is covered by a bi-chromatic bar -- the left side is black the right side is greenish gold. It essentially reduces the size of the Firefox screen. This has been happening for several days.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...
