It is amazing to have the ability to add, add-ons but.. Discount-bomb (a pain in the ass) adds itself to my add-ons without my permission. and every time I delete it, it comes back. Is there anyway to either have an option to block app-ons you dont want to be added. or have some form of permission option so that it stops happening? please help.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us! BTW: Yeah, it was mainly Copy Paste, but self-installing addons, are often result of malware.
