Since updating Thunderbird today, when I open an email, the email header is showing, how do I close it ?

I could always open or close this header before as required, in previous versions of Thunderbird there was a plus/minus symbol at the top left of the email header, but it's no longer there.

It sounds like you have been using the Compact Header add-on.

Maybe you need to re-install it, or re-enable it if it has become dis-enabled.

Thanks Zenos, I just checked and I do indeed have that add-on, and it's still enabled. It doesn't seem to be working though. I'll have a play with it tomorrow and see what I can do.

See if it is up to date. Try uninstalling the addon and reinstalling. Here's the link:

Top marks Toad-Hall, it was one version behind.

I looked (a bit half heartedly) for an update yesterday and couldn't find one, but that has fixed it.
