habe bereits Firefox neu installiert, Festplatte Fehlerüberprüfung, Viren und Malware Scans laufen lassen - alles ohne Ergebnis. Explorer läuft - sonst könnte ich gar nicht kontakten. Letzter Absturzbericht: ID: ec7c123e-2094-4c1f-9d5a-8bce22150919

Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

None of the reports show a cause.

I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.

Could be a problem with hardware acceleration.

  • Firefox 40.0.3 Crash Report [@ mozilla::SVGPathData::BuildPath(mozilla::gfx::PathBuilder*, unsigned char, float) ]

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
  • Extras > Einstellungen > Erweitert > Allgemein: Browsing: "Hardware-Beschleunigung verwenden, wenn verfügbar"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

All crash reports I've viewed show a problem with SVG images.

  • Firefox 40.0.3 Crash Report [@ mozilla::SVGPathData::BuildPath(mozilla::gfx::PathBuilder*, unsigned char, float) ]

I could be that you have an extension that uses SVG images that Firefox can't handle.

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

You could also try to install the en-US Firefox version to test if that has he same problem. You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (40.0.3) in all languages and all operating systems here:
