Hi

My Firefox has some weird behavior when I open Facebook and start scrolling down, I atached two images, first image is when I open facebook, everything is ok (I blured the contacts), second image is when I start scrolling down you'll see masive black square with blue navigation. This only happening when firefox is "maximized" and not windowed. I also try disabling all addons or run firefox in safe mode also I reinstalled it and problem is still there. Have any suggestion what might be wrong, also if forgot to tell you any additional information fell free to ask it and i'll provide it.

Hello,

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click Help Help-29 and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
  • On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.

To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.

Hey guigs, thanks for a reply, well the feature "Use hardware acceleration when available" needed to be disabled that Firefox v43.0 now works normally. Do you maybe need my system specs to troubleshoot the problem?

Thanks again.

I had this reaction earlier today when I started a New Browser session in my Twitter Page trying to scroll down a ways and then the whole browser went Black and Blue. Nothing in a couple other tabs in other places. I could get out cause I tried to close the Browser and No Fonts and Messages could be read or where to click on things. I was about to Re-boot and came up Opening Firefox New Again and then and but now I haven't seen it on my Twitter again. Was really wondering what Happen to Me in trying to find some answers to this strange behavior. I usually get Dark Pages when trying to Open a Tweet Up , with things in a lighter box in the Dark Box, but I wasn't Opening Up A Tweet, but scrolling down the page. For the whole Browser to Eliminate the Fonts with Pure Black and Blue Obscurity. My Malwarebytes Checked for any Malware and found Nothing. Was all OK with No Malware.
