using microsoft 7, as I type in an item in yahoo search engine, suggestions appear in a dropdown. This is normal, but previous search also appear.
Bear with me. First problem: as I type in the yahoo search box, as noted above proper suggestions appear, but sometimes suggestion appear that I definitely recognize as previous searches. Second problem: when I finish typing the item to be searched and find that I want to change it by backspacing, both suggestions and previous searches appear. I do not want the suggestions to appear and certainly not the prior searches. Help !!!

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. At the bottom of the page, find Location Bar.
