gmail contacts won't load in Firefox 43.0.4

When I try to go to my contacts in Gmail I get a message "oops the system encountered a problem (#101) ... retrying." It continues retrying constantly with no success.

Been using Gmail with Firefox for more than 5 years and never had this problem until Firefox 43.0.4.

I am able to access my Gmail contacts with Internet Explorer and my Android, but not with Firefox.

Would appreciate any help

I have exactly the same problem--have taken to using Internet Explorer if I want to access my gmail contacts.

Exactly the same issue here, been perfect for years until 43.0.4. No issue on my Windows 10 PC with Chrome, Microsoft Edge and no issue on my Macs in any browser.
