Hello,

All of a sudden (literally) when I right click on a bookmark on my bookmarks toolbar--nothing happens (I mean that literally, too). The context menu does not appear. I cannot edit or do anything else to that bookmark or any bookmark for that matter. I have 43.0.4 and Win 10.

Regards, RS

It could be the work of one of your add-ons. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.

Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is detective.

Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.

Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.

Hello,

Thank you.

I installed the Maintenance Add-On and ran it through Options. It didn't do anything that helped my right click problem.

TIA, kk

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

I opened Firefox in Safe Mode and the problem was gone. I hope that suggests a solution.

Thanks, kk
