I can't find Norton Toolbar in Firefox 44. I used overwrite switch on about:config but it doesn't solve the issue. I have Norton Identity Safe enabled but it won't work without the presence of Norton Toolbar.

Hi there.

You may need to try and reinstall the toolbar if it was lost in Firefox 44. Is there an option to toggle it on/off in the Norton suite? That might be enough to reintroduce it into Firefox without repairing the Norton suite's installation, which should then allow you to enable it if you override the compatibility setting(s).

As luck would have it, the next question waiting is regarding 44 and Norton. You should do a manual LiveUpdate, apparently: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1106715.

If nothing else works,

Download the current full installers for your Norton programs and save them.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product

After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner. Then run the installers.
