Thunderbird is taking forever to display message text and I am getting 'A script has stopped responding' error messages. The issue has only appeared since I updated and appears to relate to Chrome. The error message is:
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Please Start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win10 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/change-startup-settings-in-windows-10 Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
Does problem go away?
