Recently Thunderbird started acting up. When I click to close an email window, it will ENLARGE instead. Also, if I delete an email the next one in the list will also delete. Some folders have "scrambled" and hidden within other folders as a subfolder, causing a massive search to try to find the subfolder. For years, the folders have been in correct order, mostly alphabetical, but now they are moving around on their own. No one else uses my computer, so it's something within Thunderbird going haywire.

within Thunderbird... or within your mouse.

All you describe sounds like a mouse that has a flat battery or a stuck button that that does weird stuff because the button to say drag stays clicked..
