Thunderbird crashes to desktop when I try to attach a file to a message that I'm forwarding. Crash happens as soon as I hit the attach button. I found I can click the dropdown arrow next to the attach button and choose "File(s)..." to prevent the crash. This crash started on the release version of Thunderbird 45.2.0, and remained after installing the beta version 47. Running windows 10, AVG antivirus email scan has been turned off.

Thank you for the help. I renamed AcSignCore.dll to AcSignCore.dll.bak But when I tried to open AutoCAD I received an error with AcSign.arx I renamed AcSign.arx to AcSign.old AutoCAD then opened and operated normally.

By renaming AcSignCore.dll this stopped the Thunderbird crashes when attaching files.

Thunderbird and AutoCAD are working great. Thanks again for all the help.

I just looked at the first crash, I assume the rest will be the same.

The crash is in acsigncore16.dll As best I can establish this is a component of AutoCad / Auto Desk V16 that attaches itself to the Windows core DLLs to put an icon for signatures somewhere.

Given that Versions of this software is prior to 2012 it is not compatible with Windows 10, I suggest you either update or remove the software. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Windows-10-support-for-Autodesk-products.html
