Why is my Firefox browser constantly going into and getting stuck in "not responding" state since updating to the latest 48.0.2? None of my Add-ons or Extensions have changed in a long time. How can this be fixed so I don't have to resort to using some sub-par brower instead? I love Firefox and hope this is just an wasy fix. Is rolling it back to a previous version on option? Thanks

That sounds like the system CPU is being overworked.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
