This problem occurs on my desktop when running twitter in FF 54.0.1, retweet and liking won't work but retweet with something added on will work. I have inspect element-ed and found that x-csrf is null and i'm getting 403 forbidden errors as compared to my laptop which is also running FF 54.0.1 which has no issues on twitter and getting 200 OK messages. I have reinstalled FF and windows to which my Desktop's twitter still does not work. Is there any solution for this? Thank you!

Not getting much info from what you have posted nor what you are running.

If running Firefox Extensions please list them Is this from twitter.com or from this plugin https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/twitter-app/?src=cb-dl-toprated if not from this plugin might want to try it.

Now some of the things I see in your error could be that you need to follow this and check it out https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

If it happens again then try this:

Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Clear the cache":

  • Firefox/Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> Network -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Firefox/Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: "Show Cookies"
