When I right click a link so that I can see the drop down to open it in a new tab, the right click selects the link instead.

The browser then goes to the link in the same tab plus the new tab that opens up. Please help me prevent a link from being selected when I right click on it. Thank you.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
