win 10 64 bit thinks firefox is running no error msg will not refresh

running latest firefox - I think uninstalled without writing down version got the latest win 10 bug fix two days ago - yesterday was fine but this AM windows could not access the internet and the system rebooted from their end - automatic clicked on firefox Nothing but the little circle spinning loaded chrome - made it default went back to refresh - firefox already running can't re-fresh switched to Admin - now I was told firefox already running but could not get it to open on re-install attempt was told to close version already running and try again

Do you see the theme? rebooted twice

Did you clear the folder that was also created by FF? And which verison of FF57 did you install? And what A/V are you using along with what Firewall?
