I normally go into pictures choose the ones I want to send by highlighting them and pressing share and sending them via email, and being given the option to resize them. i an now directed to another window which is asking me to create a new profile. i don't want to do this at all, but I am unable to send my photos as the email Thunderbird windows doesn't open up. What am I doing wrong as this is always the way I have sent photos in the past?

Thank you

When you say you 'go into pictures', select images, then press 'share', are you doing this from the right-click menu, Share? Try selecting the pictures in File Explorer, then right-click, Send to/Mail recipient. Share only works from the Photos app and only through the Mail app.
