For the couple of months actually, I'm having this kind of issue. My net here is not the issue, nor are the addons (since I don't have any installed). When I try to play any video on YouTube, it loads the video immediately, then it takes a while (sometimes more than a minute) to get the video playing. Also, if i rewind the video, it also takes a while to continue. The message that appears after some time is "If playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device". It doesn't happen on every video and all the time. Sometimes it works just fine, but most of the times I can not play video instantly after it is loaded, no matter what. Firefox is updated, adobe and java are also up to date.

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.4 with a Full Version Installer
