in the old version of firefox prior to the change I could install themes that would change the background color of the bookmarks context menu and all menus to a dark color with light text. with the new version all drop down menus are glaring white with black thin text, I use my computer on a big screen plasma tv and the white is so over powering that you can barely make out the text. is there a way to change the background of all context menus to a dark background with white text? it is so much easier to read from across the room. with the built in mozilla dark theme i would have thought that would have happened but only the menu bars, tabs and header switched to dark and the context menus remained retnia burning white. i have changed the font to a fatter font but still find the menus hard to read. if there is not a way to easily change this it would be nice if the developers would work on a way to do it or at least include dark menus with the factory dark theme option.

Dark menus (urlbar, bookmarks, hamburger etc.) and the newtab page are available in the factory dark theme since version 61 of Firefox.

i am not talking about the bookmarks menue bar i am talking about the drop down menu that shows all your saved bookmarks. below is a picture to show you what i mean. the old full themes changed them to a dark color along with changing the browser to a dark theme. the new dark theme for version 59 changes only the menu bars header and tabs. the new themes are kind of cheesy in my opinion, i used to run the lavafox themes by zigboom they were complete and made the broswer look 3d in appearance in stead of flat and blah like something a school child drew on construction paper. anyway as you will see in the pcture the bright white menu dialog box's do not show up all that well, and they were worse when they had the standard win10 font. i changed to comic san, with a tool called winaero tweeker it allows the system font to be changed to any installed font and that helped but is still hard to read from across the room.
