At 1:05 PM EDT on April 23, 2018, I stumbled upon a microsoft-edge link when I was reviewing my Microsoft account details and my settings on accounts.microsoft.com. Firefox asked me if I wanted to open the link I clicked in Microsoft Edge. Mozilla, why not make Microsoft Edge the default app to open microsoft-edge links with every version of Firefox rather than asking me, especially because my preferred apps to open different kinds of file types aren't synced with my Firefox account, which I very much want them to be?

Hi, rumour has it that MS has been testing making all MS Program links open in Edge or IE in the April Update soon to come. MS does at times not make it easy to use Firefox to view their site pages and links. But you can add to your right click menu open in/send to Edge or IE https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/customize-the-windows-vista-send-to-menu/

As to why Firefox is asking I am not sure. Someone else will have more detail on that. As for the Sync question I have no idea on that but thought would offer the info I do have with edit the right click menu.

I never have any issues, however slight, with doing anything on any website Microsoft operates in Firefox. Heck, I have issues in Edge on their websites!
