I was excited to install the facebook container extension, but while I was able to log in to facebook and am able to open a single facebook page, any given page only loads in part and I can't navigate to any other pages--to photos, friend requests, the home pages of my friends, etc--unless I right click on something and open it in a new tab. Even if I do this, the other page I open also only loads in part and things like accepting or deleting a friend request don't work at all.

Hi, no information came about your Extensions you are using but adblockers can also stop what you are doing as well as not accepting the right cookies in Settings. Mozilla only ok's Extensions submitted by Developers to be used with Firefox. They ok them only and give the Developer a web page to distribute their Extension from. As for the facebook container Extension you mention please see the Developers Support site for information and help maybe feedback : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/facebook-container/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I tried already posting an issue a few days ago on the github page, which is where I am directed from the mozilla facebook container extension addon, but did not get any response. Thinking about it more, I think I had trouble navigating in Facebook in Firefox even before the extension and had therefore usually used it in Chrome. I had forgotten that, because I stopped using Facebook for a while (because of data protection issues) before I discovered the container extension. So it must be something else. I do have adblocker plus, but I have that in Chrome too, so it doesn't seem like that should be the problem.

Hi accepting the right cookies in Firefox or Adblock Plus could be the issue : SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
  • Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

TEST''''is issue still there ?
